A huge thanks goes to Anurag, the most attentive and responsive guide with a heart full of love for mountains, adventures and people! Being a solo female traveler, it was a challenge for me to visit India. But Anurag took a full responsibility for everything he could and couldn’t. He showed me the most beautiful (sometimes hidden) places of Himalaya, he told me tons of stories about religion, traditions of these places and people’s daily life. We had an incredible time hiking around Manali with Anurag as our guide! I can’t recommend him and Climb The Himalayas enough, his knowledge of the mountains, the people, and the culture are unparalleled. He takes the time to point out details that only someone who has spent their whole lives dedicated to exploring these mountains would know. He is also fantastic at understanding the capabilities of the group (my parents for example) and catering a wonderful experience to your skills.
I will definitely be back to continue exploring the Himalayas with Anurag and his very capable team!

I experienced my second trip to the Himalayas in October. This time starting in the beautiful town of Manali, I experienced the 2 night 3 day Ranisui-Khanapari Tibba-Lamadua Trek, climbing to an altitude of 4,000 metres! Anurag and his team once again did a great job of organising a fantastic experience. It was a challenging but really enjoyable trek with incredible views, beautiful sunshine and warm in the day, wild camping at altitude surrounded by the stunning mountains. The second night of the trek winter arrived and we woke up to fresh snow in the camp, amazing. We were served fantastic food, a fully cooked breakfast each morning, packed lunch and a full evening meal including dessert, amazing considering the limited cooking facilities up a mountain, thanks to the horses for carrying our supplies! The views on this trek were stunning and we were able to see the Deo-Tibba and Indraasan mountains both 6,000 metre peaks. We also got to see the view of the Rhotang Pass to the north and the snow covered Hanuman Tibba & Friendship Peak. As we descended we had great views of the Manali Valley and the River Beas below. I have fantastic memories from this trek. I highly recommend Anurag and his team at Climb The Himalayas if you are looking for a memorable trip with a professional, friendly and expert team :0)

A fantastic experience... A 5 day action packed itinerary of trekking in the forests and mountains near Jibhi. Anurag and his team at Climb the Himalayas are dedicated to showing the best of what India and the Himalayas has to offer. Rivers, lakes, forests, waterfalls...and always mountains. Trekking through the most stunning places meeting lovely people (and animals) along the way. The trip was in May and lovely and warm enjoying the sunshine, but still surrounded by the snow capped mountains and beautiful sunsets. We fished trout in the river and cooked it on an open fire!! The attention to detail on this trip was excellent, creating a memorable experience all round. I would recommend Climb the Himalayas without hesitation and thank Anurag and his team for a fabulous experience and look forward to my next visit!!

Our first Trek to Hamta Pass with Climb The Himalayas (Anurag Sood) was a very well arranged trek with a very professional team of Guide, Cook, Helper & Horseman. We had a very comfortable time with CTH Team. They were very professional at thier work, friendly & made us feel a part of the family for 3 nights. The tents provided were very comfortable for 2, nutritious & tasty food was served promptly & to our choice as we were only 4 trekkers in this trek by CTH. Every small necessity was addressed proactively. Our Trek helper Raju was on his toes to attend to our needs & requests , be it food, tents, toilets all were addressed with enthusiasm by Raju & Lamaji(cook) & without any complaints. Sure to go back for our next trek with Climb The Himalayas. Kudos to the team & Anurag Sood for making it so comfortable.
