Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft)
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, where our team will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check‑in, you’ll have time to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, a short briefing about the trek will be conducted. Overnight at hotel.


Day 02: Drive to Machha Khola (869 m / 2,851 ft) – 8 to 10 hrs
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu via Soti Khola. The road follows rivers, terraced fields, and rural villages, offering a glimpse of Nepal’s countryside lifestyle. The drive becomes more adventurous as you approach Machha Khola. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 03: Trek to Jagat (1,340 m / 4,396 ft) – 6 to 7 hrs
Start trekking along the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through small settlements and lush forests. The trail includes a mix of gentle ascents and descents before reaching the charming village of Jagat. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 04: Trek to Deng (1,860 m / 6,102 ft) – 6 to 7 hrs
Today’s trail enters the restricted Manaslu region. You’ll walk through narrow valleys, cross rivers, and pass traditional villages with strong Tibetan cultural influence. The landscape becomes more rugged and scenic as you reach Deng. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 05: Trek to Namrung (2,630 m / 8,629 ft) – 7 to 8 hrs
The trail gradually ascends through dense forests and beautiful villages. Along the way, you’ll start getting impressive views of Mount Manaslu and surrounding peaks. Namrung is a beautiful village known for its cultural richness and mountain scenery. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 06: Trek to Lho (3,180 m / 10,433 ft) – 3 to 4 hrs
A shorter trekking day with incredible mountain views. You’ll pass mani walls, chortens, and traditional houses before reaching Lho village. Visit the nearby monastery and enjoy stunning close‑up views of Mount Manaslu. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 07: Trek to Samagaon (3,520 m / 11,549 ft) – 3 to 4 hrs
Trek through alpine terrain with panoramic Himalayan scenery. As you approach Samagaon, the valley opens up with spectacular views. This village is one of the largest in the region and offers a strong Tibetan cultural experience. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 08: Acclimatization Day at Samagaon
A rest day to help your body adjust to higher altitude. You can hike to Birendra Lake, a beautiful glacial lake, or take a longer hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4,895 m) for stunning mountain views. Return to Samagaon. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 09: Trek to Samdo (3,875 m / 12,746 ft) – 3 to 4 hrs
A short and scenic trek with breathtaking views of surrounding mountains. Samdo is a small Tibetan refugee village close to the Tibetan border, offering unique cultural insights. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 10: Trek to Dharamsala (4,460 m / 14,632 ft) – 4 to 5 hrs
Gradual ascent to Dharamsala, also known as Larkya Phedi. The landscape becomes more barren and dramatic. This is the final stop before crossing the high mountain pass. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 11: Trek to Bimthang (3,590 m / 11,781 ft) via Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) – 8 to 9 hrs
The most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Early morning ascent to Larkya La Pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of snow‑capped peaks. After crossing the pass, descend to the beautiful valley of Bimthang. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 12: Trek to Goa (2,515 m / 8,251 ft) – 5 to 6 hrs
Descend through rhododendron forests and glacial valleys with changing landscapes. Enjoy views of peaks and lush greenery as you reach Goa. Overnight at guesthouse.


Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu via Besisahar (760 m / 2,493 ft) – 10 to 12 hrs
Drive back to Kathmandu via Besisahar. Enjoy scenic views of hills, rivers, and rural settlements along the way. Overnight at hotel.


Day 14: Final Departure
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure with unforgettable memories of the Manaslu region.
