*Drive Time: Approx. 6-7 hrs by tourist bus.*
Day 3: Pokhara → Drive to Naya Pul → Trek to Ghandruk (1,940 m / 6,365 ft)
A short drive from Pokhara (approx. 1.5 hours) brings you to the trailhead of Naya Pul. The trek officially begins with a gentle walk through terraced fields and small settlements before a steady ascent to the charming Gurung village of Ghandruk. The rest of the day is spent exploring the village and its Gurung Museum.
*Trek: 4-5 hrs | Route: Naya Pul → Ghandruk*
Day 4: Ghandruk → Chhomrong (2,170 m / 7,119 ft)
After a gentle start, the trail descends to the Kimrong River before a steep climb to the beautiful village of Chhomrong. As the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary, Chhomrong offers spectacular views of Annapurna South and Fishtail peak right from your lodge.
*Trek: 5-6 hrs | Ascent: approx. 230 m | Descent: moderate*
Day 5: Chhomrong → Bamboo (2,310 m / 7,579 ft)
A day of ups and downs. From Chhomrong, a stone staircase leads down to the river, followed by a steady climb to Sinuwa. The trail then leads through a dense, cool bamboo forest, eventually arriving at the small settlement of Bamboo.
*Trek: 5-6 hrs | Ascent: approx. 460 m*
Day 6: Bamboo → Deurali (3,230 m / 10,597 ft)

Day 7: Deurali → Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC, 3,700 m / 12,139 ft)
The vegetation thins out as you enter the high alpine zone of the Modi River valley. After trekking alongside the river for a few hours, you reach the treeline. Day 8: MBC → Annapurna Base Camp (ABC, 4,130 m / 13,550 ft)

You will spend the afternoon exploring the area, with the sunset turning the snow-covered peaks a brilliant golden-orange. This is the highest point of the trek.
*Trek: 2-3 hrs*
Day 9: ABC → Bamboo (2,310 m / 7,579 ft)
Wake before dawn to witness the sunrise ignite the surrounding peaks in a spectacular light show. After breakfast, begin the long descent. You will retrace your steps, passing MBC and Deurali, and descend through the forest to the relative lowlands of Bamboo.
*Trek: 6-7 hrs (descending)*
Day 10: Bamboo → Jhinu Danda (1,780 m / 5,840 ft)
A relatively short and pleasant day of walking through forests and villages. The goal for the day is Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs located a short downhill walk from the village. A relaxing soak in the geothermal pools is the perfect way to soothe tired muscles.
*Trek: 5-6 hrs*
Day 11: Jhinu Danda → Naya Pul → Drive to Pokhara
Your final day on the trail involves a gentle 3-hour descent to the roadhead at Naya Pul. Here, a private vehicle will be waiting to transfer you back to Pokhara (approx. 1.5-hour drive). The evening is free to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere.
