A True Adventure Company
Welcome to Climb the Himalayas – where the mountains aren’t just a destination, they’re a calling.
Nestled in the serene foothills of the sentinel Himalayas, our home in Manali is a peaceful escape from the chaos of the plains. Here, snow-clad peaks whisper to travellers, inviting even the less adventurous to test their mettle. The Beas River Valley, with its breathtaking scenery and deep cultural roots as the legendary home of the Saptarshi (Seven Sages), provides the perfect backdrop for authentic adventure.
We are more than just an agency – we are uncompromising custodians of mountain thrills. From mountain climbing, trekking, and rock expeditions to skiing on pristine snow, paragliding under endless blue skies, river rafting on wild currents, bike expeditions, and soul-stirring treks to Leh – our canvas of adventure knows no bounds.
Anurag Sood
The mountains have always been part of my story.
Growing up inspired by my great grandfather, the legendary mountaineer Sh. Tara Chand Thakur, I was introduced to the Himalayas at a young age. What began as curiosity soon became a lifelong pursuit. At 12, I started formal training at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering in Uttarkashi, later earning A-grade certifications in both basic and advanced mountaineering, alongside training in skiing, first aid, and rescue.
As my journey evolved, I expanded my training internationally—becoming a licensed Mountain Leader through Mammut Mountain School in the UK, and further advancing my skills through International Mountain Leader training with Glenmore Lodge.
My experience has taken me beyond the Himalayas, with climbs across the Alps in Switzerland and Austria, as well as in Chamonix and Norway—each landscape offering its own challenges, lessons, and perspectives.
But beyond the certifications and expeditions, what truly shaped me was the experience of being in the mountains—the discipline they demand, the respect they teach, and the perspective they offer.
Since 2000, I’ve had the privilege of leading expeditions across Himachal, Uttarakhand, Leh, Ladakh, and Nepal. Over the years, I’ve met people from all walks of life—each arriving with their own reasons, and leaving with something far more meaningful than they expected.
This isn’t just about reaching a summit. It’s about the journey—building resilience, finding clarity, and reconnecting with something deeper within yourself. Safety, precision, and preparation are at the core of everything we do, but so is creating an experience that stays with you long after the climb is over.
If you choose to climb with us, you’re not just signing up for an expedition—you’re stepping into a story.
And I’d be honoured to be part of yours.
