About Us

A True Adventure Company

Welcome to Climb the Himalayas – where the mountains aren’t just a destination, they’re a calling.

Nestled in the serene foothills of the sentinel Himalayas, our home in Manali is a peaceful escape from the chaos of the plains. Here, snow-clad peaks whisper to travellers, inviting even the less adventurous to test their mettle. The Beas River Valley, with its breathtaking scenery and deep cultural roots as the legendary home of the Saptarshi (Seven Sages), provides the perfect backdrop for authentic adventure.

We are more than just an agency – we are uncompromising custodians of mountain thrills. From mountain climbing, trekking, and rock expeditions to skiing on pristine snow, paragliding under endless blue skies, river rafting on wild currents, bike expeditions, and soul-stirring treks to Leh – our canvas of adventure knows no bounds.

Anurag Sood – a name synonymous with precision, passion, and peaks.

Inspired by his great grandfather, the legendary mountaineer Sh. Tara Chand Thakur, Anurag began his journey at just 12 years old. He trained at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (Uttarkashi), earning an A-grade instructor certification in basic and advanced mountaineering. He also mastered skiing at the Mountaineering Institute, Manali, and underwent rigorous training in first aid and rescue.

Since 2000, Anurag has led expeditions across Himachal, Uttarakhand, Leh, Ladakh, and even Nepal. A hard-core perfectionist and respected expert, he blends safety with adventure – winning hearts of young and old alike.

Over the last eleven years, his dogged commitment has carved a niche in mountaineering that many aspire to. With Anurag, you don’t just climb mountains – you discover a new dimension of exploration.
