Pin Bhaba Pass Trek

Day 1: Drive from Shimla to Kafnu (208 km / 7-8 hours)

Meet at the decided place in Shimla by 7:00 AM. Hop into a vehicle and drive to Kafnu, making your way through Narkanda and Rampur.

Kafnu is a charming hamlet in the Bhabha Valley, Kinnaur. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay. Tomorrow, your Bhaba Valley trek commences.

Day 2: Trek from Kafnu to Mulling (3,100 m)

Indulge in a hearty breakfast, then embark upon the stunning Bhaba Pass trek route.

• Walk amidst apple orchards and an easy-to-follow forested trail

• The moderate trail takes around 6 hours to reach Mulling meadows

• Once there, take in the natural beauty that abounds

Overnight stay in tents.

Day 3: Trek from Mulling (3,100 m) to Kara (3,550 m)

Brace yourself for some fun river crossings where you will make your way across natural bridges.

• Enjoy vibrant alpine blossoms along the trail

• You may meet local shepherds in traditional outfits

• Arrive at Kara meadow after a steady climb

• Lap up the sights of stunning peaks on the border of Kinnaur and Spiti

Day 4: Trek from Kara (3,550 m) to Phustirang (4,000 m)

Start from Kara and enjoy the trek to Phustirang along the river's left bank.

• Expect breathtaking sights throughout the day

• Witness the mighty Hansbeshan Peak (5,840 m)

• Arrive at the campground in the early evening and unwind

Day 5: Trek from Phustirang (4,000 m) to Bhabha Pass (4,850 m) to Baldar (3,900 m)

Begin by ascending the path to Bhabha Pass. Be prepared for a steep path and heavy snow.

• Snowy terrain requires extra strength and takes more time

• At the top, feast your eyes on great views of many mountain ranges

• Witness the famous Pin Parvati Pass

• Take a short halt, then climb down towards the Spiti side

• Make your way through stunning, distinctive Spiti landscapes featuring grasslands and mountains of various colours

Day 6: Trek from Baldar (3,900 m) to Mudh (3,740 m) + Drive from Mudh to Kaza (3,800 m) (2 hours)

Delight in a light trek to Mudh through breathtaking terrain.

• Witness purple-hued mountains

• See the Pin River meandering below

• Enjoy endless open spaces

• Explore the charming hamlet of Mudh
