Friendship Peak Expedition

Day 1: Manali: Manali 
Arrive at Manali and check into your Deluxe camp/Hotel. Freshen up and join in your Instructor’s on a detailed briefing on your Climbing expedition. Time will be given for any last point shopping  etc. Dinner and night at your campsite/hotel.  

Day 2: Manali – Dhundhi – Lady leg altitude 13500 feet (Walking for 5 to 6 hours) 
Depart for Dhundhi 21 km drive from Manali.  Arrive and start you trek to Ladyleg. This trek is through green meadows and ridges. Arrive Ladyleg and establish/check into your camp.  After lunch take a acclimatisation walk. Return to camp and start with Knot training, and introduction to rope work and roping up. Night at your camp.  

Day 3:  Lady Leg camp 
Early after breakfast depart for Camp 1 for load ferry, arrive and set up your camp. After refreshment & packed lunch take a acclimatisation walk and return to Ladyleg camp. Afternoon practice roping up and crampon techniques, continue your training with knots. Later learn how to gear up for snow craft.  Night at your campsite.  

Day 4: Lady Leg – Summit Camp 1 – altitude 14500 feet. 
After early breakfast snow trek/ climb to camp1.  Have early night and prepare for summit of the Peak.

Day 5: Summit attempt 5300 Metres
Early morning start the climb for summit at 3 am, looking over Pir Panjal range of Himalayas. Spend some time on the summit and return back to camp 1.

Day 6: Ladyleg Camp – Dhundhi
Early after breakfast depart for Dhundhi. Arrive and take connecting cabs to your campsite/hotel. On arrival check in and relax, later join in your Instructor’s for a get together and celebration on your successful summit of Mt. Friendship peak. 

Day 7: Manali 
After breakfast Checkout and end your expedition.
